Our Skid plate chest protector vest is no flimsy nylon vest. It is constructed of two layers of quality 1000 denier cordura backed fabric throughout the entire vest. The quarter inch non-absorbing skid plate is sandwiched between the double layers of cordura. It covers and protects the underbelly of the dog while wearing this vest. This vest is adjustable with wide 2” Velcro top straps. All edges are bound with nylon for added durability. The chest protection vest is comfortable and will protect your hunting dog from tall cutting grass and thick ground cover. This vest is not only great for protecting the hunting dog but works well for protecting the underbelly of those bitches that are nursing. Choose from two colors, camo or blaze orange. Sizes are Small which generally fit dogs between 20-30 pounds—Size Med 31-65 Pounds—Size Large 65+ Pounds
