The Memory Foam Crate Bed has 2” thick foam with a 3.5 density. It has a waterproof polyester/PVC backed covering. In case your dog has an accident, the covering prevents the memory foam from being soiled. The outer covering has a black upholstery fabric on one side and a multi-colored brown fleece on the other. It can be removed and machine washed, line dried.

Memory foam, or visco-elastic foam, responds to the dog’s body temperature. As it conforms to the dog's shape, it redistributes the dog’s weight. More of the dog’s body is in contact with the sleep surface-- the more square inches of contact, the less overall pressure per square inch. When the dog’s body is uniformly supported, skin pressure is significantly reduced. This improves circulation, reduces pressure points, and decreases spinal pressure.
