Great Product I have 2 plain faux Sherline mats - one is 2 years old, the other is 2 years old. They wash beautifully without losing the colors. The one that's in my large crate has been usurped by Kota's best friend - an adopted ex-feral cat. The second in on the upper part of my bed. NO ONE is able to remove NuNu from either one - he has claimed ownership from Day One!
So, I'm gonna buy a 3rd one for the crate mat - hopefully NuNu will leave this one ALONE for Dakota to use! The other 2 have withstood countless times being brushed off & into the washer. I choose to let them air dry inside the house. I love them, Dakota loves them, and NOTHING can get NuNu to move his butt off of the 2 older ones! So hopefully between the three, my 2 critters can use them interchangeably and be happy!
I'll be placing my order for the new one tomorrow. And just wanted to add my positive feed back of such high quality, comfort, and ease of keeping them clean! Thank you Active Dogs for making such high quality products that keep my extraordinary Psych Service Dog, Dakota (long coat GSD), & for my Emotional Support Animal, NuNu (long coated cat) The Nefarious & Ruler of all planes! Thank you for making such excellent products that hold up SO WELL over the years - I boast about your products to everyone!
Kindest Regards, Deb - disabled person, Dakota - Psych Service Dog Extraordinaire, and The Nefarious NuNu who is the Ruler of all Kingdoms...

My all time favorites I love these, and so does my GSD. So versatile and comfy, I'd like my own. Layer them on top of fancier or more difficult to wash beds. Then just wash as needed. Portable, light, and lots of cushioning without the foam, or other fun to shred stuffings. I brush them with a wire brush before washing to loosen and remove fur. Sometimes have to pick burrs out by hand. But they hold up well to our rugged woodsy life.
