Ruffwear Grip Trex Dog Boots set the standard in dog boots. These are high-performance boots, designed for dogs who like to run and explore the great outdoors with their humans. The boots have 3M® reflective material that provides low-light visibility and adjustable straps to ensure a custom fit on your dog's paw. Rugged and resilient outsole lug pattern provides exceptional traction on almost any terrain.

It is important to match your dog's paw to the correct size boots, see Getting the Right Size for your dog in the information tab. Boots will be snug on the paw to prevent twisting and have enough room for the paw to spread out. Once the boots are on and they fit, take the dog for a walk to take the dog's mind off the boots and to start to associate the boots with fun.

These gray boots fit dog's paws that are 3.0".

Tips for Fitting Ruffwear Boots

  1. Don't assume large dogs have large paw - measuring is critical to ensure a proper fit
  2. Unlike human footwear, sizes are based on width of the paw, not the length
  3. Ruffwear boots are designed to fit a dog's anatomy - they are not designed to be worn at a right angle like human footwear
  4. The boots don not need to be pulled up past the carpal pad

  • secure fasteners
  • wash in cold water
  • gentle cycle
  • mild detergent
  • air dry

Getting the Right Size for your Dog

  1. Have your dog stand on a firm surface.
  2. Place a piece of paper under a front paw.
  3. Lift dog's opposite front paw so that weight is placed firmly onto the paw being measured.
  4. Mark BOTH SIDES of weighted paw at its widest point on the sheet of paper.
  5. Measure that distance and choose correct boot size from the figures above. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size.
