The Wheelchair Spoke Guard Bag provides protection for your hands when handling the wheels of a wheelchair. It is easy to grab the wheel of the chair and jam a finger or break your nail into the spokes of the wheelchair. The spoke guard helps to protect your hands from this happening. With it's zipper pocket it also gives you storage room while using a wheelchair. The Wheelchair Spoke Guard Bag fits on a standard 24" wheelchair wheel.

It is made from water resistant strong black ballistic materials. This material wipes clean with damp towel. It quickly and securely attaches to the wheelchair tire with eight reflective hook and loop straps. This bag has a center zipper with a large easily accessible long zipper tab. The text on the Wheelchair Spoke Guard Bag is done with reflective vinyl. This is a great safety feature for early morning and evening hours of travel.

Choose from 3 decorative styles: K9 Powered with paw print, flag with your custom text or a simple, blank bag. Custom text designs can have up to 10 characters on the first line and up to 5 characters on the second line.

Available individually or buy a pair of bags and save!

Very Noisy
I think the concept for these are WONDERFUL. But the material on the inside is much too noisy when rolling your wheels and things are shifting around against noisy fabric. Considering the nature of the wheels, any items inside will be moving top to bottom with each stride.

I cannot vouch for it protecting fingers, because I have ergo handrims. I got these mostly for the bag feature and an additional storage that isn't too bulky. But the noise was so overwhelming that I ended up just giving these away for free.

Another thing to consider if you only have a small vehicle and take apart the wheelchair before stowing into the back of a car - having these on will make things much more challenging to get the wheel quick release off since - of course - it is not readily accessible by the nature of the item. Something to consider, but that's not why I give it one paw.

If you are getting this to protect your fingers, it may be worthwhile. If you are getting this only for the storage feature - I would say it's not worth it with how noisy all the shifting objects are.

I will note the overall construction and materials used are wonderful. I love that this provides additional means of reflective material.

No, I would NOT recommend this product.
