Our No-Pull Service Dog Harness is a true No-Pull harness. What makes this a No-Pull harness is a D-ring set into the front chest plate. If you have a dog that wants to get out in front of you then this harness will solve that problem. When the leash is attached to the front chest D-ring and you tug at the leash the dog will turn back towards you. Causing the dog to turn its head and focus on you. If you have a young dog that gets distracted easily this will also be a good harness for you. When training with this harness I will attach a short leash to the top D-ring of the harness and then a narrow longer leash to the front chest D-ring. I will work the top leash but if the dog gets out of position or distracted I have that narrow longer leash on the front D-ring to make the correction and get the dog back focused on me. If you are working with a wheel chair you can attach one leash to the chair and hold the other leash that is connected to the front D-ring to get the same results.

The No-Pull Service Dog Harness is a form fitting harness with adjustments on both the chest/neck and girth areas. There are two sets of buckles at the neck and girth so once you have the harness adjusted to your dog’s size then it is very easy to take the harness on and off because the adjustments can be left in place. You won’t have to take this harness off and on by pulling it over the dogs head. The No-Pull Service Dog harness is padded with air mesh for your dog’s comfort. The padded chest area gives good stability to the harness. There are no loose floppy straps on this No-Pull Service Dog Harness. The entire harness is bound with reflective materials. It comes with two attached reflective Service Dog patches. There is an attached double pocket ID window for your ID’s. The handle is a raised molded easy grip handle with two D-rings to attach an extended bridge handle (sold separately). The harness is red in color and comes in three sizes. Bridge handles and ID cards are sold separately.

the quality can't be compared to retail
I've ordered several products from Active dogs and have always been impressed with the service and quality. Recently ordered the no pull service harness for my little cavalier therapy dog. It allows me complete control over my dog when on therapy visits. Its very easy to put on and take off and fits great. If I could give it 6 paw prints I would.

No pull service dog harness - front range
The harness is fine but just a little too big for my small dog. If the girth were an inch or so less it would be perfect. I ended up putting a pad under the harness to make it work. It is well made and has a great design to make it comfortable for the dog.

Pros and cons!
I was totally excited to get this vest. My service dog pulls on the occasion he truly gets startled or when I miscommunicate my intention of movement. There are pros and cons. Pros are: lightweight, fast drying, form fitting and easy to attach and detach my bridge handle. The cons are: because the D rings are higher up and closer together I have some difficulty picking up my bridge off his back, the ID pocket allows the ID card to slip out as he moves because no velcro closure, I was using a SAR style vest previously so he had padding on his back for when I am not holding the bridge handle and the new vest offers no padding because it's short. Also I have to adjust very snug because of my bridge handle and when I do the bottom padding against his belly and sides slips out from underneath the straps. I will need to sew the straps to the padding at the ends. Overall it's a good harness and is quality made. I wish there were color options since our gear is purple but once we get used to it I think we'll love it.
